It must be my computer setting or something! I wanted to add a blogger to my Reading List but since she didn't have the GFC widget on her blog, I couldn't add her directly from her website. So I had to try to add her through Dashboard/Add on Reading List. The above message showed up.
Does anyone know how I can follow through GFC a blogger that doesn't have the GFC widget?

If they don't have the widget, scroll all the way up, there should be something like a ribbon at the top where there's a search bar and what not. Next to it, it says FOLLOW. If this doesn't show up either, send the blogger a comment and request they get the widget.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you tried this already, Try going into your reader and clicking on the top left hand icon that says Add a Subscription...Copy the URL in there....I subscribe to TONS (way over 300) blogs and I've never had a problem! Hope this helps!

ReplyDeleteI use GOogle Reader for reading blogs (and it has a spot for the blogs you are following via GFC). I like it because I can place blogs in categories like book blogs, foodie blogs, craft blogs, family blogs etc, and when I am in the mood to read crafty blogs, I just go to that section, etc. I also don't seem to have any kind of limit on the number I follow that way.
ReplyDeleteLike Chris, I use google reader because if all else fails, you can just add blogs there by copying and pasting their web addresses.
